Litlos to Mogen in boat

Does anyone know if it is possible to sail from Litlos to Mogen in a Kayak or Canoe?

I don't know if it is possible, but I am quite sure, that it will be very very hard word to bring a kayak or canoe to the starting point at Litlos.

I have never done it , but my brother i law , with 3 friends in 2 canoes did it a few years ago. The hauled their canoes up to Litlos and started there, and I think they used a couple of days to get the canoes up to Litlos. And after what he told me , that was the hardest part. And then they canoed down river to Mogen and Møsvatn. Of course there was some carrying to be done underway , but not as hard as the haul they started with.

They told me that there was a possibilty to pay for horse transportation of their canoes up to Litlos , but they decided to carry them themselves , and they regretted it.

So , go for it !!

We have decided to recon the area on foot this summer and return for the sail later if possible.
