stéphane salvi Skrevet 6. april 2011 Skrevet 6. april 2011 Hi, I will cross Hardangervidda by ski next week and I want to know if it's possible to stay one night in Langavasshallet (in the emergency shelter and not the private cabin). Some body tell me this shelter is in very bad condition. But what does it mean ? There no roof , no door, no window ? Or that means just that it is not as comfortable as a refuge ? Thanks a lot for your help and bonjour de France ! Stef Siter
Phaser Skrevet 6. april 2011 Skrevet 6. april 2011 To ski you need snow. I haven't beed on Hardangervidda latly, but snow is melting rapidly this week and the weather forcast for next week is warm too. Hope someone has been there now and can give a snow report. Siter

Phaser Skrevet 9. april 2011 Skrevet 9. april 2011 Last night it was a blizzard on hardangervidda. People was stuck inside on Finse hotel because af the weather so with new snow it could be good conditions when the wind calms. Webcam and weahter station from Finse station. 1222meter http://www.bt.no/kamera/videokamera/Finse-stasjon-2479956.html Looks nice to day Siter

Toskehove Skrevet 9. april 2011 Skrevet 9. april 2011 If somebody said the shelter was in very bad condition, I`d say it means you would be better off in your tent. Have a nice trip. Siter
