evets01 Skrevet 25. mars 2011 Skrevet 25. mars 2011 hello, Sorry for my english. From 8 april to 25 april we come to Norwegian and Swedish Lapland to do some snowshoe/winter trekking. First week we wil walk from Katerat (Norway) to Nikkaluokta (Sweden) on snowshoes/backpack with an attempt on normal route of Kebnekaise South Peak. Second week we will visit Lofoten/Vesteralen. We have questions about the winter/spring routes to reach the huts on Lofoten/Vesteralen: Is it possible with snowshoes/crampons/ice axe (but NO rope) to reach: Lofoten - Munkebu - hut on Moskenes possible??? - Trojfjord - hut on Austvagoya (approach from Slovra/Austpollen) possible???? - Is the route( Nesland -> Nusfjord -> Kilan -> going east to Nappstraumen -> going north to Napp) possble in this period? Vesteralen - Snytind-hut wich route in winter?? Other suggestions for winter dayhike snowshoes/crampons routes on Lofoten/Vesteralen? Thank you very much! Steve BELGIUM Siter
