Hiking from Finse to Kinsarvik is possible?

I was planning to make a hike from Finse to Kinsarvik, starting the 25th of July. According to the website with the information on snowlevel and temperature, there's still 4m of snow in the western hardangervidda. Could someone tell me if this is true? If it is true, it's maybe better to search for an alternative route in the eastern vidda. Thanks PS: sorry for my english, but i'm not skilled in norwegian.
