I give most of the free gear to readers in raffles (see http://sectionhiker.com/category/fun-stuff/ or give it to charity. I have written hundreds of product reviews. I don't want any more gear. I fills my house and makes it unlivable.

There's an interesting history when it comes to product disclosures. I first asked all outdoor bloggers to publish them a several years ago but got the biggest pushback from writers in Europe.
